Mkate Dolls
Our Mkate Dolls are handmade dolls lovingly created by Grandma Dottie and a group of young girls she taught to sew. At 84 years of age Dottie has dedicated her life to helping orphaned children. These dolls are created in sets of two. One is sent to an orphaned child and the other goes home with the purchaser as a reminder to pray for the more than 153,000 million orphaned children in the world. Mkate is bread in Swahili.
