Medara Metla is a small village located in the State of Andhra Pradesh in India. The population of the surrounding area is 25,000, but this tiny village boasts 400 people, most of whom are members of the church there, led by Pastor Andugula Dasu Babu. While this is a farming community, they are also plagued by extreme poverty and some of the same socioeconomic issues that have created the huge number of orphans there. This orphanage, like the one in Daburuvaripalli, is smaller to fit the needs of this community. The orphans who are cared for by church members live on top of the church where they can be better protected from issues that plague children in India. Join us as we pray for God to bless not only Pastor Babu and his church, but the orphans living there. We pray that their farmland produce abundant crops and that the joy of the Lord that is known there be spread to the surrounding villages.
